Dorsa Jabbari is an Iranian journalist who works as a news presenter and correspondent for Al Jazeera English. She reported from Lebanon on Ahmadinejad’s presidency as well as the continuing war in Syria.

Jabbari has been assigned as Al Jazeera English’s correspondent to cover the events in Russia and Ukraine. Although an Arab channel, Al Jazeera English did not assign an Arab reporter to cover the war in Ukraine, but featured a female presence on the screen.

Jabbari earned a BA in English and Fine Art History from the University of Toronto in 2001. Jabbari has been covering news on Iran for Al Jazeera English for many years.
